“Plant A Living Tree” Memorial Program
The Alsip Park District is proud to offer this program that will allow Alsip Residents the opportunity to honor and/or memorialize relatives and/or friends with the planting of a tree in one of the Alsip Park District Parks.
To become involved in this tree program, you will make a contribution to cover the cost of purchasing a tree that you choose from a list of authorized trees that the park district has approved. The minimum size of trees shall be two inches in caliper. For purchasing a tree, a donor will have the opportunity to assist the park district in selecting the site where the tree will be planted and you will receive a letter acknowledging the donation. In addition, the individual’s name for which the tree is being planted will be engraved on a leaf on the Alsip Park District’s “Plant a Living Tree Memorial” Plaque, that is on display at the Apollo Recreation Center
