Cal-Sag Trail Taking Shape
The Alsip Park District's west segment of the Cal-Sag Trail is taking shape. This is a look as you will walk/ride the trail heading east under Cicero Ave to Freedom Park. The west end of the Cal-Sag Trail is scheduled to be completed this Spring....a ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for June 6, 2015.
The Cal-Sag Trail at Alsip Park District's Freedom Park. This will be a trailhead location with access to the parking lot and playground. This is a look heading west on the trail as you walk/ride under the Cicero Avenue bridge.
Childhood obesity has reached epidemic proportions
Illinois Park Districts, Forest Preserves, Conservation, Recreation and Speciaal Recreation agencies are coming together to ensure healthy, happy and safe future kids. The Park District Youth License Plates make it possible for agencies to offer programs that teach children lifelong health, fitness and nutritional choices. Forms are also available at the Apollo Recreation Center.
2015-2016 School Starters Registration Fees
The registration fees listed in the 2015-2016 Spring brochure for our School Starters program are incorrect. The correct fees are listed below:
Session Fee: Residents $230.00/ Nonresidents $300.00
Yearly Fee: Residents $420.00/ Nonresidents $560.00
Note: The yearly fee is a $40.00 savings.

Registration and 2015 Spring Brochure Update
With the break in the weather, our delivery company has made significant progress in completing the delivery of our 2015 Spring brochure. Delivery of the brochure should be completed by Wednesday, March 11, 2015. If you are a resident and have not received your brochure yet, please contact us at (708) 389-1003 and leave your name and address and we will get a brochure delivered to you as quickly as possible. The Spring brochure is currently available in .pdf format or a "Flipbook" format on our website. Please feel free to use one of these formats to view the 2015 brochure.

2015 April "Open Gym" Schedule
50th Anniversary Celebration
Congratulations to the Lovett family for winning our April "50th Anniversary Celebration" monthly drawing.
During the month of May, all residents who purchase a Sprayfari Aquatic Park Membership during the month of April 1-May 4th will be entered into our "50th Anniversary Celebration" monthly drawing. The drawing will be held on Tuesday, May 5.
