Registration
Am I a resident of the Alsip Park District?
Just as there are different boundaries for school districts, there are different boundaries for park districts within a village.  Check your tax bill to see which park district you pay.

What do I need to prove residency?
You will need a picture I.D. and a current utility bill to prove residency.

Can I register if I am not a resident?
Yes, we do have resident and non-resident fees and welcome non-resident registration.

Where do I register for Alsip Park District programs?
You may register at the Apollo Recreation Center located at 12521 South Kostner Ave., Alsip.  Soon you will be able to register online here at our website!


Hours
What are the Alsip Park District office hours?
Office hours at the Apollo Recreation Center are Monday 8:30 am-8:30 pm. Tuesday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Saturday 9:00 am-1:00 pm and Sunday closed.


Refunds
Can I get a refund for a park district program?
Refunds are only available if requested before two classes of the program session have expired.
A refund application must be filled out at the Apollo Recreation Center Main Office.

Refunds will not be granted for one-day seminars, trips or special events unless requested one week prior to seminar, special event or trip date.  For programs with a registration deadline, refunds will not be made after the deadline.  There is a $3.00 administrative fee on all refunds except when the Park District cancels a program.  In this case a full refund will be issued.


Seniors
Do you have any senior programs?
We do offer various senior fitness programs and our Senior Citizens Club meet at the Apollo Recreation Center the second and fourth Monday of the month from 11:30 am-3:00 pm.


Park Watch
How do I report vandalism?
If you see harm or destruction being done to a park or play equipment, please call the police at 385-6131.  You do not have to give your name.  Park Watch will keep the parks and playground equipment at its best for you to use and enjoy.

Also, if you notice any Park District equipment in need of repair, or for any park related problems, call us at 389-1003.  Please help us keep your park facilities safe and beautiful for all to enjoy.  Thank you for your support.
